Staff Weapon
The staff weapon is the standard armament of Jaffa and Goa'ulds. It fires a directed energy blast, enough to cut through armour and kill the victim with a good shot.
Pressing a small button on the staff's shaft causes the tip to open, with a characteristic spark, and the staff can then be fired. Pressing the button again closes the weapon's tip.

Tacluchnatagamuntoron (Tacs)
Tacs are a Goa'uld remote weapon, used mainly in defence perimeters. They fire automatically when anyone approaches them, and they can be disabled with a single hit from a zat gun.

Goa'uld Shock Grenade
The Goa'uld shock grenade is a small, lightweight orb that disperses a large amount of energy upon activation. When activated, it emits a large discharge of energy and a flash ofextremely bright light while emitting a sonic burst that renders its victims unconscious and blind for a short period of time. It is used by the Jaffa to disable attackers in other rooms or areas when a fire fight with conventional weapons is not feasible.

TER (Transphase Eradication Rod)
The Goa'uld developed the TER to combat the Reetou race, who exist out of phase with conventional lifeforms and are thus invisible. The TER works using the emissions from a Reetou that a Goa'uld is sensitive to, and then converts this into an image, so a TER can be swept around like a scanner to reveal any Reetou present. It also incorporates a weapon, which will destroy Reetou.

Ribbon Device
A ribbon device is worn on the hand, and is controlled by the user's emotion. When the hand is held out, the crystal lights up and the victim is killed, thrown backwards, or persuaded depending on the user's intention. The ribbon device can only be used by the Goa'uld, Tok'ra, and former hosts.

Zat'nik'atel (Zat Gun)
A zat gun is an excellent bolt weapon, that is significantly different from the staff weapon. Zat'nik'atel are much smaller, almost pocket-sized, but are almost as powerful.
One shot from a zat gun temporarily paralyses the victim, or disables electrical equipment. Two shots kills the victim. Three shots disintegrates the victim, or any inanimate object.
Zat guns, like staff weapons, have to be opened up by pressing them before they can be fired, by squeezing the handle.
